A deeply personal, grounding, and empowering conversation about what it means to stop dimming your light and truly partner with your purpose. Chapter 1

The Moment Purpose Stops Being Theory

Dr. Elisa Malangone

Hello Gorgeous Soul, Welcome back to Ignite Your Insight, It's me Elisa. Have you ever asked yourself the question..."Why am I here? What's the purpose of this life? Am I here for a deeper reason?" or "Geez, What's a Soul Contract?" I want to begin with something honest: there were years when I looked functional, capable, even successful from the outside... and inside, I did not feel fully alive. Not because I had no gifts. Not because I had no love. But because self-respect and purpose were not yet in alignment. And that ache? It is real. Purpose stays abstract when you keep abandoning yourself. But the moment you stop negotiating against your own truth, something extraordinary happens -- your purpose stops being a concept, and starts meeting you back. So this is not a lecture. This is a return.

Chapter 2

The Life I Was Living Was Not the Life I Was Meant to Lead

Dr. Elisa Malangone

I spent years dimming. Years choosing what looked safe, what looked manageable, what kept everybody comfortable. And let me tell you -- safe can become suffocating when the price is self-betrayal. I got very skilled at hiding behind choices that kept me small. You can be responsible, productive, kind, and still be deeply off course. That is what drift looks like. It does not always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks polished. Sometimes it looks like a woman smiling while quietly disappearing. I know that terrain well. I know what it is to hide behind the control switch of situations I had no business being in. That was not failure. That was drift.

Chapter 3

Soul Force, Life Force, and the Quiet Knowing Beneath Both

Dr. Elisa Malangone

So let’s make this plain. Life force is the part of you wired for survival -- safety, logic, control, predictability. It matters. We need it. Soul force is different. Soul force moves through truth, expansion, intuition, alignment. It is the part of you that knows when something is right before your mind has gathered the evidence. Most people are not missing purpose. They are living with these two forces out of sync. Life force says, stay where it’s manageable. Soul force says, but this is not your life. Purpose isn’t found in one or the other. Purpose begins when life force and soul force start speaking the same language. When your safety no longer requires your silence.

Chapter 4

The First Signs That Something in Me Knew More

Dr. Elisa Malangone

I think one of the first places I understood this was with my baby brother. I had moments of knowing with him that came before language could explain anything. A felt connection. A telepathic kind of awareness. And no, I’m not saying that to sound mystical for fun. I’m saying there are forms of knowing that arrive before conditioning teaches us to doubt them. Before we are told what counts and what doesn’t. That matters. Because maybe intuition is not fantasy at all. Maybe it is memory. Maybe it is the soul recognizing what the mind has not caught up to yet. And if you’re listening, I know you’ve had moments like that too -- where you knew before you could prove.

Chapter 5

The Target Moment That Confirmed Everything

Dr. Elisa Malangone

Then there was the Target moment. During Covid, I was in Target -- of all sacred temples -- and a woman recognized me. She stopped me and told me that something I had shared had interrupted a life decision she was about to make. Not in a vague, “love your content” kind of way. I mean it rerouted her. It changed what she was about to do. And I stood there, in the middle of fluorescent lighting, medical mask and shopping carts, realizing something was speaking back through impact. That moment stayed with me. Because when your purpose is real, it doesn’t just live inside you as a beautiful idea. It touches people. It reaches them at the right time. And sometimes it finds you in aisle seven to make the point.

Chapter 6

The Work I Was Actually Signed Up For

Dr. Elisa Malangone

Over time, it became even clearer through the people I was trusted to sit with. Survivors of abuse. Grieving parents. People carrying losses so heavy you can feel the weight before they even finish the sentence. There is nothing performative about that work. Nothing abstract. It is sacred, yes -- but also practical, human, immediate. Sometimes purpose looks like helping someone remember their own sanity. Sometimes it looks like holding the line of truth while someone comes out of fear. Sometimes it is helping a person breathe inside unbearable pain long enough to find themselves again. That is when I knew: this work was not about being seen. It was about being available. Clean. Present. Useful in love.

Chapter 7

The Conversation With My Mother

Dr. Elisa Malangone

And then there was a conversation with my mother that marked me. There was disappointment there -- not because she didn’t care, but because truth can disrupt the picture people had for your life. The conversation about me working as a medium came up and she grimaced and shared how devastated she was. And I remember answering from a place that had finally become clear in me: I cannot choose approval over truth. I actually shared "I would rather you be disappointed in my truth, than proud of me for living a lie." I cannot live a life that looks right to others and feels wrong in my spirit. That conversation taught me something difficult and freeing. Some people will only love the version of you that betrays you. That doesn’t make them heartless. It makes them attached. But misunderstanding is not always a sign you are off track. Sometimes it is evidence that alignment is costing you your mask.

Chapter 8

Self-Respect Is the Doorway

Dr. Elisa Malangone

Here is what I know now. Self-discovery helps you hear your purpose. Self-respect is what allows you to live it. I did not feel truly alive until I had the self-respect to partner with my purpose. That is the line. Not talent. Not timing. Not even clarity on its own. Self-respect. The willingness to say, I will not keep leaving myself just to keep the peace. And the wild part? Every good part of my life became even greater when I stopped negotiating against myself. Relationships became cleaner. Work became stronger. Peace became steadier. Self-respect is the moment life force and soul force agree. Your purpose doesn’t rise to meet who you hope you are... it rises to meet who you respect yourself enough to become.

Chapter 9

What Purpose Actually Feels Like

Dr. Elisa Malangone

Let’s strip this down. Purpose is not a title. It is not branding. It is not performing certainty online while your nervous system is screaming backstage. Real purpose feels quieter than that. Clearer. It feels like internal agreement. It feels like peace without needing explanation. It feels steady in the body. Right. Not always easy -- let me be clear -- but right. The body recognizes it. The heart softens around it. The mind doesn’t have to keep creating elaborate arguments to stay in it. Purpose is the feeling of your life and your soul being in agreement. And once you’ve felt that, truly felt it, noisy versions of purpose lose their seduction.

Chapter 10

Closing Activation and Signature Truth

Dr. Elisa Malangone

So I want to leave you with a few questions. Where are you still dimming? Where are you drifting while calling it responsibility? Where are you still negotiating away what you already know? Maybe purpose is not asking you to go chase a grand identity. Maybe it is asking you to tell the truth in one place you’ve been silent. To set one boundary. To stop abandoning yourself in real time. You did not come here to perfectly follow a contract. You came here to develop a relationship with your purpose. And when you partner with your purpose, your purpose partners with you. If something in you stirred today, continue the magic at ElisaInsight.com. The matters of your heart truly matter to my heart. Much Love, Light and Insight~
